Sun Rice is a Filipino-rooted restaurant + bar shaped by the third-culture experience.
Born from life in between cultures, generations, traditions, and the places we call home.
Our food and space reflect that experience: rooted in where we come from, shaped by where we are, and open to where we're going.
Food. Drinks. Music. Art. Community.
We started in 2021 as a farmers market stand and pop-up. Then a residency at Deadshot Cocktail Bar. Then a kiosk inside the Moxy Hotel downtown. In 2025 we opened our own space on N. Williams.
By day, silogs and comfort plates. At night, a bar and grill with skewers, cocktails, and music. A neighborhood spot, and a home for pop-ups, collaborations, and community events.
We add a 20% service fee to each check so our team earns consistent, livable wages. Tipping is optional.
